1. Who can I raise money for?
GoodPix allows you to raise money for yourself, loved ones, charities and non-profit organizations. Donation causes cover the spectrum of all facets of life – most import to consider is what is most important to you?
2. What is a photo fundraiser?
Photo fundraisers simply use photography as a mean to raise money for a cause. It can take many forms – but the premise remains that a photographer provides their art to crowdsource donations for their cause. See PHOTO FUNDRAISER EVENT IDEAS for more specifics.
3. How much should I price my photos for?
This will vary greatly between all campaigns but you we allow creators to use different price points for low and high resolution downloads so you appeal to those that want to make small and large donations. We encourage you to have a fairly wide price gap between download sizes so you can appeal to a wide spectrum of donors.
4. How do I receive the funds or ensure the charity received them?
GoodPix will automatically transfer funds to the beneficiary account during the first 5 days of each month. If you are raising money for a charity, you will receive an email confirming the donation with a corresponding transaction number for reference.
5. How does GoodPix protect copyrights of photographers?
Under the Federal Copyright Act of 1976 photographs are protected by copyright from the moment of creation. GoodPix takes copyright infringement very seriously. All campaign creators are required to legally affirm that all photography uploaded is their authentic and original work of or given with the photographers written permission. We then use third party verification companies to conduct thorough research on the photographs to scan the world wide image databases to identify matches that may indicate a possible infringement. From there, further research and verifications will be made before the photo is uploaded to the album for public view. All photos also have a “report” button for anyone to alert us to possible issues of copyright infringement, indecency or fraud.
